DJ Chop real name James Hayley has been dj-ing for over 15 years, his love of dj-ing started way back in 1998 when the dance scene was well and truly going off in the UK, his influences are Carl Cox, Steve Angello, Tiesto, Eric Morillo, Axwell, Alesso, Daft Punk, Fatboy Slim, Sebastian Ingrosso and Pete Tong to name a few.

Chop started off dj-ing in his hometown of Whitley bay bringing a progressive style of piano based big lead vocal house with mashups and bootlegs a plenty. He played at places like Aruba, Scotts, Style, Jimmyz and Breeze bars, learing the ropes and getting noticed off locals. He then got a residency at Deep nightclub where he played every week, and which he still runs to this day.

He has toured all over the UK with big weekly nights in Huddersfield, Sunderland and Glasgow to name a few.
In 2012 seen him continuing his hard work when he joined forces with fellow DJ Matthew Docherty to create monthly podcasts known as Agenda earning them 10,000 followers gaining respect all over the world.

Up to 2015 have seen a more production side come out of Chop, his Bootlegs and Mashups have had plays from DJ's support around the world from the likes of Thomas Gold & Michael Calfan.
His residency at Deep Nightlub in Whitley Bay are still going strong pleasing crowds every Saturdays & Thursday's.
